Tarik Kiswanson

Tarik Kiswanson was born in Halmstad, Sweden, in 1986 and lives and works in Paris.  

Tarik Kiswanson works across sculpture, writing, performance, drawing, sound, and video. His multidisciplinary practice explores themes of displacement, regeneration, and transformation. Working between different cultural contexts, Kiswanson examines ideas of identity, memory, and change through recurring concepts such as fragmentation, multiplication, hybridity, and the coexistence of multiple voices and perspectives. Each medium he uses offers a different way of exploring these questions, creating connections between physical form, language, and experience.
