Education
Atelier Calder offers educational programs for students from elementary school through high school, giving them the opportunity to learn about the artists’ creative processes and engage with the artworks on a sensory level through a visit to Atelier Calder and a meeting with the artist-in-residence.
Our education team develops programs that respond to teachers’ educational objectives. Off-site activities based on exchange, discovery, and hands-on practice can also be offered upon request.
These visits are by appointment. Please reach out if you are a teacher looking to develop an educational project with Atelier Calder.
Workshops and Internships
Atelier Calder’s mission also includes a commitment to knowledge-sharing and professional development, supporting students from art schools, art and design programs, and university art history programs. We offer talks, internships, and work-study placements, including internships from September to December as part of the AR(t]CHIPEL festival.
By opening its doors to students, Atelier Calder affirms its commitment to supporting the training of future professionals in the arts. This educational mission is an integral part of our commitment to contemporary creation. These periods of immersion provide an opportunity to discover how an artist’s studio operates, explore the issues and challenges of contemporary creation, and develop a practical understanding of the professions surrounding it.
