Since 1989, the residency program developed by the Atelier Calder has enabled artists to pursue their artistic practice, to experiment, and to create new projects in an exceptional environment: the former studio of the American artist Alexander Calder, located in Saché (Indre-et-Loire, France).

Each year, the Atelier Calder offers a program of two residencies, providing support to artists developing projects in the field of visual arts (installation, sculpture, etc.).

This open call is addressed to artists who have been engaged in a professional artistic practice for several years, of French or international nationality, with no age limit, and with a confirmed professional career on the international art scene.
